About

I am a recent MLIS graduate of Florida State University. My work concentrated on Knowledge Management, and included coursework in Advanced Online Searching, the Information Needs of Children and Young Adults, and Virtual Reference.

Currently I am a library assistant in the Library at John Tyler Community College, a position I held while earning my degree.

My current role includes reference, library instruction, circulation desk shifts, and the library blog.

I am looking to make the jump to Full-time Professional Librarian status and put my energy and degree to WORK! I worked for 5 years in the computer industry before going to library school.

I am also a very enthusiastic knitter.
